Sasha Grey to Star in Upcoming Eminem Music Video
Eminem has enlisted the help of dead-pan gaze and dirty talker extraordinaire SashaGrey for his upcoming music video. The song, Space Bound is his forth single off of “Recovery” which is chock full incredibly profound songs about the rappers troubled life. Eye Prime got photos of the duo filming at the heavily guarded night shots which are being filmed on location at a California hotel and roadside diner. Workers from the set have said the video for "Space Bound" follows an intense story line between a couple showcasing a much more mature Eminem than what we’ve grown accustomed to throughout the years.
"I was in a really dark place. I felt like it was over for me ... professionally," Eminem says in an interview with NPR about his new album and his two years of sobriety. "I felt like I had a really bad case of writer's block. ... Music is so therapeutic for me that if I can't get it out, I start feeling bad about myself — a lot of self-loathing. I was in active addiction. I knew I couldn't control it anymore."
This isn’t the first time Eminem has enlisted the help of a pornstar for his music video. In 2003, Eminem’s smash hit “Superman” featured the very gorgeous Gina Lynn as his love interest and Lisa Ann was featured in the video for “We Made You” reprising her iconic role as Sarah Palin.
Sasha Grey has appeared in other music videos in the past for The Roots and The Smashing Pumpkins.
No word when the video is set to be released or when it can be expected to premier on the web or music channels.
